For today
Hunger on the concrete
Sleeping in the street
Baby, don't cry
Mom will teach you
Jesus trick of treat
Soup lines
When the rain comes down
Give them something good to eat
But don't say a word
Mama's going to keep you
Mirage of fullness
Everyday is not ok
But the same song
On mother's lips
Soothes the pains
After their empty mouths
Swallow promises
One day too many
